Hi readers.
I bought a 1990 FLHS that was a high mileage sh*tbox. Rusted frame (covered up with silicone and bog) non existent primary adjuster shoe plastic, no Primary oil (thats why it didn't leak) broken final drive teeth, plus heaps of other issues. My fault for believing a salesman, and not giving the bike a thorough inspection. Anyway I chose to keep it and fix it up. A harley forum in Australia mentioned this site as a wealth of information. Anyway a thorough top end rebuild is on its way (it used nearly three litres of oil on a 2200km run through Victoria) and I know I will need as much advice as I can find.
