Title: Baker speedo sensor
Post by: HotRodShovel on January 11, 2019, 05:50:25 AM
My Baker transmission has a port for a speedo sensor.  Im not sure what ratio I would need in an electronic speedo to attach to it.  I def want to get a mini speedo on that bike for obvious reasons.

I suppose I could get a call into Baker, and I will but in the mean time I'm betting someone out there has already gone thru this and can help me out with the process.

As always, thank you..

I don't have any direct info but when I put Baker's DD6 into my '05 Fatboy & used the adjustable sensor that was sent with the kit, I was able to adjust my factory speedo to the exact speed as was shown on my GPS. I'm thinking if you could find a "mini", that was the same ratio as the original, and then use Baker's adjustable sensor, that you would be right on the money.

Thanks Koko.  My 6 in 4 did not come with a sensor but is 'ready'.  I think I'll give Baker a call and hopefully they will point me in the right direction
