Many thanks in advance to all the members of this forum for their willingness to share their motorcycle knowledge, experiences and wisdom.

My apologies to Mick for posting on his thread - not very good at this internet stuff.

I just turned 65 have been riding for over 40 years now and many of my go-to motorcycle friends, riding buddies and shop owners are no longer riding or passing away:(

Found this group searching for information on rebuild of 4 speed tranny.

Looking forward  to meeting you all.

Howdy George, welcome from Arkansas.

Hang around a bit and you'll figure out what goes where.

There's the Tech sections labeled based on generations of HD (generally engine based) and also the General section. For non-Tech stuff, Earl's Place is the...place.

KHG,

Hi from Syracuse NY.
How did you end up with the transmission? All good?
I'm not a proctologist, but I know an asshole when I see one...

Thank to all for the welcome aboard :)

I was able to find the answer to my early model transmission question on this board.

Thanks!
