turboprop

Did a little work on 'California' today. This bike really doesnt belong in the EVO section as it has a twin cam drive train. The TC124 that is going in this bike is still in the development stage. Its coming.

Yeah you can't beat the orange its sweet so is the silver motor . I'm so burned out on black n chrome motors

Reddog74usa

Thought I was the only one tired of the black n chrome. It's not really a naked engine as it appears as if there's some kind of color sprayed on it. Kinda like those granite 110 engines. Whatever it is I like it.

It was first introduced in 83 on the XLX 61 motor, and is called "silver bead blast".

What pipe is that? It looks like it should make great power.

Reddog74usa

It's a Bassani Road Rage. It had an underground build in it and was a 95 incher. Made 113 HP and 118 TQ. Broke 100Lbs. at 2200 RPM and was a real fun ride.

Stopping much better with these late model Brembo's and floating rotors.
Edit: I don't know why my photos lately are flipped 90 deg.

Thanks FSG, there are some things to try. Whats weird is here and on VTwin Forum they post rotated 90 deg. On OFOPOS and Facebook / Instagram they post the way I took them straight up/down.

A photo of the very last FXRP that was sold by the CHP and a photo of two others.  all '88 and '89.
They are all living the retired life.

Paniolo

I love those FXRT/P bikes

Planning on making one myself, starting with a Dyna Frame (Defender if possible) and adding all the bodywork. I am hoping to achieve this look.
Add a detachable top box for long trips, a stereo with speakers and of course floor boards.

Life can only be lived in the present moment.
