Transmission sprocket

I have seen several pictures and U-tube videos on rebuilding 4 speed transmissions, and some state that the concave side of the final gear should face the trans, other pictures show the dished side of the sprocket facing out. Which is correct or does it matter? Thanks, Frank

Factory setup is concave side towards transmission case,  but that require factory rear wheel setup as well. What you need to check is clearance and lining.
