I see Baker sells a heavy duty "Street Door" with larger bearings and a plate instead of snap rings holding the bearings in place. Is there an issue with the stock setup on high horse power builds?

The bigger motors can make the main shaft pull away from the bearing, and after the bearing wears a little, you can actually loose clutch distance pull, the lever comes toward the handlebar under throttle. Snaps back when you let off. Also shifting can get a little rough as the wear continues. Unless they changed the bearings in the M8, the bearings have a nylon inner cage that's not so strong.

Bakers "Street Door" is a first rate piece, you will be happy with it. I ran one last year on my RG (aka as the sexier HD model) 117 motor. I ride it like a rental car with the insurance paid. No clutch lever movement, no noise, ect. I wanted the 7 speed last year but missed the black Friday deal, so went with  Street Door and was happy with it. Got hooked up with the DD7 for this winters downtime.
