I see talk about radio heads, what is that is it something you can just replace, my radio will go mute but everything looks ok om the panel.

Will it come back on if you turn it off and back on?
More than likely it's a vibration problem. Usually one of these: fairing brackets, speaker brackets or riser bolts hitting the bottom of radio (depending on year). Even after I changed all of these on my 09' FLHX I've still been dealing with this exact issue for years! Blueprinted motor is smooth as $hit too. Good luck

Yeah  I  turn  it  on  and  off  and  it comes  back  I  can  hit  a good  bump and  it will  be  fine  but  sometimes  it  will  go  on  and  off  every  few  seconds  or  stay on  for  a  while

Tony at Iron Cross can fix that for you. I apparently have other issue going on though because 3 repairs and the same issue comes back. Good luck
