Tight rocker arm

I am trying to install a set of jims rocker arms into S&S rocker arm supports. They don't fit. Taking measurements it looks like I need to remove .013 thou to give me .003 end play. Do I remove this material from the rocker arm or the rocker arm support?

Do you have a stock rocker arm to compare the length?
