Is the S&S 550 too much cam for a 107?

i posted this to another forum, but didn't get any solid answers.

just for gits n' shiggles, what kind of results would an s&s 550 cam yield in a 107? Assuming a good stage 1 base to start with (heavy breather, aftermarket head pipe and slip ons) and a good tuner. Ignore the added labor of replacing springs.
If plausible would it need head work? Compression?
it doesn't seem like THAT wild of a cam. Could it be streetable in a 107" with the intent of going larger displacement later?
what results would you guys expect from this?

would advancing the cam 4* help to move the power to the lower RPMs?
i'm leaning towards fullsac MX, thundermax, unknown mufflers (currently running street cannons).
I had almost decided on the 475c cam until i saw that they had a wilder cam and it piqued my interest, even if only for the sake of bench racing.

With stock heads/stock compression, it would be a slug. With a 120" @ 11.5CR, then it's a contender.
Ignorance is bliss, and accuracy expensive. How much of either can you afford?

i figured that that was the case, ill likely end up going with the 475.

does anybody have suggestions on exhausts to compliment the S&S 475? as i understand its a finicky cam and wants a good scavenging exhaust

Joe did one with the 475 cam/Freedom 2-1: made decent #s, (118/116) but really a right hand (3500-6500) kind of cam. May be fine, If you use the rev limiter to shift...
