Does my non abs ultra have a speed sensor under the starter? While riding my speedo quits and I lose my avc on the radio. It seems temp sensitive as it doesn't do it when cold.

Do you have a volt meter on the bike, does it stay consistent at about 14 volts, or does it read higher when this happens?
My speedometer would go out when the regulator crapped out and sent too much voltage back to the battery.
If the government gives you everything you want,
it can take everything you have.

It should.  Take it out and clean it off and see if it makes a difference.

Voltage stays normal. The engine light came on a couple of times but not always. It would go out when the speedo came back on.

Retrieve the DTC's. Yes, the Speed Sensor is in the Trans Case.
