I've got a 2011 parts catalog.  I don't want to make a mistake and buy this bearing if it's different in the prior year.

If 37906-11 ain't the part number...what is it?

Thanks.

That's the bearing for the clutch basket and clutch hub.

Thanks for the site...I had that bookmarked.  I need to get into the habit.  Again, thanks.  I'm glad I checked because the part number are different.

Don't forget they changed to a narrower bearing in 2011.  Yes it will fit but IMO you will need to make a spacer to take up the gap between the bearing and the snap ring.  Easier to use the correct bearing, 37906-90, tried and tested.

37906-11 CLUTCH BALL BEARING    MRRP  91.95

the re designed the clutch basket and with the removal of real estate could no longer use the old bearing

Looking at the pic you posted, looks like they moved the bearing outboard and seems like overall is about the same dims.  Of course that's just a pic and may not tell the whole story.  Looks like bearing is moved closer to the middle of the basket.

FSG (and others).  Thanks...yes, 37906-90 is what I found on the parts finder.  It's a good thing I checked with ya'll.

37906-90 is what I'll use.  Thanks for the explanation.

note that pic says it will retrofit back as an "assembly"

Updating this thread with some bearing dimensions. This will take you to another thread where FSG gave us the old style bearing dimension, and I was able to measure the new style at the HD shop to get the width dimension.

So old style bearing:
37906-90 CLUTCH BALL BEARING
ID ( mm )   35
OD ( mm )   72
thickness ( mm )   27

And new style bearing:
37906-11 CLUTCH BALL BEARING
ID ( mm )   35
OD ( mm )   72
thickness ( mm )   21
