Personally I'm completely self taught on these things, when I bought my first puter I wondered about the start menu.  ;D ;D ;D
We learn by being forced to deal with new things.

The Kansas guy is right. We are lucky as the whole theme, with the white and light gray back ground, the deep black dividers and the blue buttons looks as good and classy as any site out there.

Some of the new sites people started, one in particular that is not on SMF, are such a color coordination and legibility nightmare that I deleted my membership 5 minutes after joining.
