OK, I connected my Sony Cyber-Shot to the computer via the USB cable and opened FastStone Image Viewer
The Removable Disk (F:) is the Camera

I then drill down through the drives directory structure until I get to the pix

Notice that the Viewer is in the 'thumbnail' view mode here.

it can easily be changed to 'detail' view

select the pix (files) on the camera that you want to copy or move, hint: shift and left click them or Ctrl and left click them

use the browse button and drill down to the folder you want

if you need to create a new folder

call it what you like

if the file already exists you'll get a message window

choose the appropriate action
