All decisions are economic. Which decision makes the most economic sense for you? Do you want to keep a warranty? What kind of power are you looking for?

My guess is a piece of trim off of an old Shovel.

Howdy Ed, welcome to the site from Arkansas.

There's tons of good information here in the Tech sections. The "For Sale" section is only for site supporters.

EVO 1340 / Re: 1985 FXWG converting to Points

Thanks all for your replies.
The one reply I like the most is from BURNOUT.
You say the stock factory ignition on this 1985 FXWG will fire right away on first rev.
If this is correct I don't need to convert back to points.  Some one told be there is a sort of timer that if bike doesn't start on first kick you need to shut off ignition and turn back on or if you don't do that it needs 3 rev to fire again????

You should probably install the kicker and go from there.

I have a LePera Silhoutte on my RG. It's surprisingly comfortable for how low profile it is. I thought I would just use it around town and throw my stocker on for longer rides, but it's never come off and the stocker got sold.

Lots of new info out there.  Makes one wonder, should I buy a new/used 107 and bump it up to 114/117 or buy a new 114?
