Radial laced wheels
« on: December 28, 2017, 02:54:38 PM »
Hi
I Have a 93 heritage softail, thinking about putting radial laced wheels on her but the only ones i can find with the taper 3/4 inch bearings are Drag Specialties or Ridewright and they are both $$$$.  My questions is both DNA/mammouth and ultima both make radial laced wheels but they have sealed bearings -- can these be made to fit our older bikes?   Thanks

I converted my '91 softail to late style sealed bearings. Two things you need to do.
1. get the correct wheel spacers
2. cut down the speedo drive unit inner spacer
