AlloyBoltz Kit & SA Cases
« on: February 06, 2018, 01:20:38 PM »
Does anyone know if the SA cases utilize all of the same bolts as a stock case?

1FST, what am I looking at here? I sent an email and call to S&S but havenít gotten word. If at all possible Iíd like to zip this thing together by Friday.

Since the S&S SA cases donít use the same hardware, I know this is asking a lot, do you have a list of the hardware you used?

Exactly which hardware are you needing?
Case assembly or engine installation?

I was going to buy the kit from AlloyBoltz for the engine, but I would also purchase the install hardware so everything matches.

This thing might look like a turd. Silver cases and heads, chrome rocker boxes, black highlighted  cylinders. Time will tell.

Itíll be a while. I have no idea where Iím headed end of next month when my internship ends. First I will need to secure a place to work and somewhere to live, if I had the forsight to buy a van Iíd be all set.  Finding someone that can build the exhaust the way I want may sound easy, but it wonít be; I meet exhaust fabricators and they want to do things their way or the way Burns says, thatís not how I roll. My tig skills are inconsistent.

I do not have an itemized list, I don't think I have ever seen a complete one.
The internal bolts for things like rockers and rocker lower covers I used what came with stock covers, internal cam, oil pump the same. the actual case bolts I matched up but I did find this PDF on line the case hardware is at the end. Hope this helps Good luck

That was helpful. Iíll order the internal hardware as a kit and have them match the rest to whatís in the PDF or source it elsewhere.

Check Allen's Fasteners with your list. They seem to have anything I have looked for.

That guy has had every specialty bolt and nut I've ordered...in stock.
I've damn near replaced every bolt you can see on the outside of my bike with his 12 point bolts.
