oil tank

i have to remove the oil tank on my trike to replace the neutral switch.it looks like a softail tank with the battery inside.where would the bolts be located and which way it would slide out.sorry for all these questions as im new to evos.thanks all

Not to be a smart Alec remark but did you ever buy a manual?  There’s tons of good info and pictures in them.   :wink:

If you get down and look it over you’ll see all of the fasteners. Look around the tank, seat off and decide if you have enough room to move it in one direction or the other when loose. You may be able to manage blocking or tying it over to give clearance. IIRC you have a bastard built trike chassis so your situation may be unique.

I have to agree with kd, your trike is unique and the only sure way to know is to just jump in and start learning.
No shirt, no shoes, but I still get service.

that could very likely be a aftermarket oil tank for a hardtail ,or not ,but  :nix: , have to accept its a frankenstien without a build sheet

Start by removing the rear exhaust pipe.
