Anatomy of "Street Port" Heads, $299 VS $499
« on: October 16, 2016, 09:42:02 AM »
I am often asked why do I need to spend $499 when I can get my heads ported for $299. This is a comparison of ported 06up OEM twin cam heads.
OK fair question.

What you get for the added cost when purchased from us:
New AV&V valves and sized for maximum low end torque or higher output with a higher torque output, peak
New bronze manganese AV&V guides
5 and 3 + radius valve seat angles with a seat that is <.001 runout, very concentric
Heads milled and CCd to the customers requirements for compression ratio
Spring pressures set and springs that are not up to spec are replaced
Full specification sheets which show what your heads flow, all other pertinent specifications, not a generic sheet, these are the actual results for your heads

What's the difference in terms of flow?
Here is a baseline of their heads stock valves, and our Street Pro 1.9" valve heads
The results speak for themselves. The test heads were cleaned before testing.
