2017, 117”, FLHXS, TTS 200 Cam
« on: March 02, 2018, 05:22:51 AM »
107 to 117” bored 114” cylinders
SE Heads and throttle body
S&S Header crusher mellow mufflers
TTS 200 Cam
Wiseco 11:1 pistons
218 ccp

Pretty good power without having to split the cases. The air cleaner was holding it back 3 hp/tq throughout the entire pull. The S&S exhaust header uses the older style Twin Cam mufflers which seemed to work ok.

One of the better performing build I have seen.  Just to be clear this is a big bore cylinder on a 4.375 stroke stock crank?

Correct stock crank with big bore cylinders.

Have the same cam in my stage 3- 114.  How's the low speed driveability at 11:1?

Runs great at low speed. You have the same compression in the Harley stage kits if I’m not mistaken. What did you get for HP/TQ numbers? The guy that tuned my bike also does excellent work!

SE Stage 3- 10.5:1 I believe
TTS-200
HD heavy breather
stock heads & TB
Fullsac header
Forsch slip-on's

128/115

Just added the SE 64mm TB and 5.5 injectors.  Getting it tuned this week.  I'll post the dyno sheet after.

The SE 114 kits are advertised to be 11:1. It will be interesting to see what the larger throttle body adds for power!

I have a few hundred miles on this build now and there’s nothing “mellow” sounding about the Crusher Mellow mufflers when your cranking on it with a built motor! It does quite down pretty good when cruising below 3,000 rpm. Not sure why HD went with different diameter mufflers on the M8s. This exhaust system allows you to use the earlier style mufflers and work well at least with my build. I haven’t seen another dyno run posted anywhere using them.....feels nice to have a 117” again!

I just read your post in the 120" thread and I agree the CR530 cam would be interesting to see in this build. If I were in your shoes I would first try one of the CNC'd manifolds that are on the market. Everything I have seen on the stock and SE manifolds shows they are a big factor in holding back both stock and SE heads. I have suggested this addition to many of the people running various dyno tests but I have not seen it tried on anything except ported stock heads and then always as a total package.

I had thought about getting the manifold ported but never did. At this point it will probably be part of next winters project.  I had talked to Wes a few times over the winter about the CR530 cam that he was still tweaking the design on. Waited as long as I could and decided to try the TTS 200.

I makes good power ,  The higher compression seems to drive up the torque and they really shine there good job
