Curious, how often do you tuners have to send your dyno stack back to dynojet for repair?

Ours was repaired about 4 years ago. So 1 time in 16 years for us.

When I had winpep7  I sent it out when I first installed the dyno and the second time after a lightening strike over a 6 or 7 year period. There is a battery in them that will go bad. The dynojet program for fixing them was 50 the first time and as I recall increased to 100 the second time.
If you don't have a sense of humor you probably have no sense at all.

I sent my complete stack to them I think about 4 or 5 years ago. Don,t remember how much
it cost then. Now they say the battery is bad and to send the stack, cables, power supply,
and breakout board to them.   $495.00 + shipping

You can replace the battery yourself for much less.

I thought they stopped supporting Winpep7 and the old stack last July. It sounds like they want everything because they are getting you ready for a upgrade to the Winpep8/powercore set up. I would beware of the old "we can't fix it but we will upgrade you and give a small discount for your old stuff"

That was my first thought, but they said they would have to reprogram everything.

Yes I know Winpep8 is in the near future for me but they never mentioned it.
