2010 oil pump with 3k miles install question???
« on: July 11, 2018, 02:14:32 PM »
I'm installing a 2010 cam plate and oil pump on my 05 ultra. Both have 3000 miles on um. The oil pump came disassembled and the rotors or spacers  don't have directional marks on them. The pump and internals show very nominal wear patterns. Is there a "best way" to reassemble this as close to the direction the internals were originally installed? Should I even be concerned at 3k miles with nominal wear?

The patterns are so minimal that it'll be tough, I guess I'll do my best and not sweat it too much... being that they're so minuscule that I will have trouble matching the marks...
