Nice photo's once more Grumpy, We had quite a bit of rain here in NC the beginning of last week too, but beautiful this weekend, just got back from a 75 mile jaunt to check on fall color not much change yet, was up on the Blue Ridge Parkway up to the highest point 6053 feet, kinda fun, was above the clouds there, rode through the clouds at 5000' elevation, just a bit higher than the overpasses in FL! :smiled:

Good second pic of the sunrise. :up:
That gal on the back of the asian bike looks to be "tokin" on something.
Stephanie looks great to me.
Ribbit!
The calendar looks fine for the superstitious.

Thanks Grumpy. :up:

Grumpy;

Another good Lisa photo!  Thanks for telling her hello from all of us.

Tell Debbie, the cook from the Legion, she has a cool scooter.  Thatís what I probably should have!  At last itís affordable and good on gas mileage.  What more could you ask for - a gal that cooks, has a two wheeler, and a personalized license plate.

It looks like the Daytona Diner is still serving good food.  The new waitress, Stephanie, has a temporary job until they reopen.

The calendar is a good way to avoid Friday the 13th!

Just spent a few days in the Greek Islands and I sure wish you were there with your camera! I must say the women on the beaches were substantially larger than the ones in Daytona while the bikes were substantially smaller! 200 lbers in string bikinis (or less) not uncommon sprinkled in with a few Goddesses. And speedos. Ugh.Most of the drivers drag raced from every light on their Japanese and Korean Scooters, some with loud pipes. (Bikers around the globe all love loud pipes). I actually saw one dresser identical to mine in black, the fastest color. Also one sportster or dyna and a WW2 vintage hardtail type BMW. The only common large bikes were dual purpose V-twins from a few BMW R800s to the more common Honda Transalps and Suzukis and Kaws. The rentals were limited to 50cc but most of the scooters were 150s. They drive a lot of Quads on the streets and the owners say the Kymcos (Korean) are top of the line and durable. They now sell Korean quads in this country, I believe. Quality must not be too bad from the way they beat on them two up and full throttle up the mountains! Deer hunters take note if you're bucks down. Food portions are half ours and there are few fat folks, other than the tourists and older folks as most walk everywhere and everything is a darn uphill trek both ways, and I lost 4 lbs. Saw one guy in a HA cut from the Netherlands. Grumpy, your beaches are hands down more beautiful. On Santorini the beach is basck volcanic smooth gravel. The only "Sex on the Beach" is an American tourist drink advertised everywhere and I supplemented my diet with some truly terrific Bloody Marys!

Coastie, I spent 3 years on the island of Crete.  They have some great beaches.  Mostly smaller and some are very isolated to get to.  Yes, whales too.
