Good theme for those 2 pics. I heard it wasn't very busy this year for bike week. What do you think?...

Grumpy;

Great photos.  It looks like quite a few stopped by your place thus far.  It's a good thing you do for all of those fine folks.  I wish I was with you and the others.  It's about time to put the bikes away for the season in my part of the country.  Thanks again for the photos.

Grumpy, Great Photos!  Thanks!  I didn't make it over to Daytona this year as I'm a little "under-the-weather" as they say with the Flu. Yuck!

Glad to see little bro Cub made it over.  Maybe one of these years I'll make it back down from the cold country.
Today the sun and snow were alternating their appearance.  Thanks for the pics.  B

Thanks for the comments.

Shobby, glad you and Way-Low stopped by.

Mackdog, would be good to see you again.  Heard you moved south, hope the heat isn't too much.  LOL

Grumpy, nicely done once again, had hoped to get down for the event but the planets didn't align, take care.

You (Grumpy) are the second person that I have heard say that there weren't many bikers at this year's Biketoberfest. Personally, since some of the bars had closed and vendor list (as compared to Bikeweek) is less, I think the crowds were just about right. I couldn't move at some of the bars on Main Street on Friday or Saturday night. At 4:00 in the afternoon, the bridge at the Ironhorse was full but you could find a place to stand and see what was going on. Webers was packed on Thursday night. Friday night I sat on the Main Street bridge before reaching the draw section for the first time at Biketoberfest in recent memory. I wonder if everyone keeps comparing Biketoberfest to Bikeweek. The weather at Biketoberfest is almost always better (it was great this year) and the crowds are big enough to be fun and small enough to be manageable. Even thought the event is supposed to be over on Saturday, there was still a reasonable participation on Sunday.

For me, it was the best Biketoberfest I have been to in a while and I'm getting to think that I won't be going to any more Bikeweeks... except the vendors are always better at Bikeweek. Of course it had to rain on the ride home on Monday...

CW#, I'm basing my observations on road traffic, away from the usual places.  The pics I posted of Main St. was at noon and it wasn't busy.  Neither was the Loop when I was on it.

The intersection at US1 and Granada is usually way more busy.

I'll agree, more people would probably be too busy.  The weather was mostly perfect.
