Sportster alternator stator changes

Hi guys,
HD changed the Sportster stator in 2014. Up to 2013 the part number was 29997-07A, they started installing the 29900068 in the 2014 models. I was wondering if any of you knows what is the difference between them, some aftermarket manufacturers sell the same unit for 2007-2018 models...

Don't know about 2014, but when they went to F.I. In 2007 they upped the charging system from the old 22 amp to a higher 30 amp system.
