I found a near perfect (internally) 4 speed for my buddies '85 FXWG. We doctored his along this past summer till we found a perfect case, and the bonus is the internals appear to be super low miles. The transmission has been sitting a long time as can be seen by the rust on the sprocket. This came from a guy in Corpus Christi, so it was near the ocean in storage.

The counter shaft first gear, it has a ring around the gear, centered in the width of the teeth. His has had Andrews gears in it since '93, and I haven't been inside four speeds in a long time. Does this signify a specific ratio? I guess I can just go over and count the teeth, but was curious as to what if anything it means.
