What do you guys do, when threads are to tight, even with the  -.002" undersized thread Colony seal/retainer?

Is it adviseable to heat up crankcase at threads?

Nobody ever experienced too tight threads @ bearing locknut?

About 3 hrs with a handheld thread file to reduce oil seal/bearing retainer OD by .002", heating case to 300 deg F, a special tool to bolt down the bearing retainer socket to prevent it from slipping and a 3 ft breaker bar did the trick.

Just had a 1959 FL crankcase on the bench for final assembly yesterday, after crank bebuild/balance.
-.002 seal worked good.
Still had to use good effort on the spanner wrench.
