Finished my build recently here's the list

110 fuel moto kit with 10.25:1 pistons
Ported and polished heads w/ larger valves (don't know the combustion chamber CC)
Cycle Rama 575 cams

My CCP was 185/185 engine was cold in my 30 degree garage I'm 84' above sea level

What's your best guess am I at 10-10.25ish?

Thanks would I see higher pressures with a warm motor as opposed to a 30 degree motor?

whoever did the heads should have given you the chamber cc,

Yep, And some flow numbers. At least a ballpark number..

If you put in the numbers to come up with 185 it comes in at 9.6:1.

Need the chamber Cc to do that...

You reverse calculate the approximate mechanical compression based on what we know.

Just retested on a warm motor this go around 195 front 200 rear

I have to ask, you put together an engine and did not not what the chamber size was? :banghead:
I am an adult?? When did that happen, and how do I make it stop?!

First build ever I sent them out for their stage 2 port job and got it back put them in. Waiting to hear back from the porter just emailed them today but the whole project was a learning curve hadn't ever built a motor before. Next time around you bet your ass I'll be getting all this info up front. I'm assuming he set the combustion chamber to factory size since I never asked for something different but you know what they say about assuming

Ya these numbers follow the cylinder temp greatly. That's why it's a B to start a hot motor without PSI releases.
Your CCP 185F&R will probably come in around 190-195 in 70* weather and a skim coat of motor oil on the walls/rings.
