Im about to replace my front wheel and will be swapping my front disc over to the new wheel then installing a performance machine caliper. please forgive my ignorance but what it the part called that has the tabs you bend up ward to keep the disc retainer bolts from loosening off?

mrmike

That part when used on the inner primary is called a "locking tab".

Though on my 03 Roadking they are not used just locktite.

If the BoardTracker HD website is still working you can use their part catalog to look yours up or just post the year and model of your bike and we can get the info for you.

I've seen them called lockplates although I did not know any disc retaining bolts used them.

Boe Cole

never seen them on a disk - only on the fenders.
We never really grow up, we only learn how to act in public.
