OEM or is the aftermarket fine

I think you are referring to the rubber doughnut things on the end of the swingarm at the pivot shaft. If so, I have used OEM, aftermarket OEM replacements, and other aftermarket designs (Glide-Pro, etc.). The answer is not cut and dry with a clear cut winner. Really depends on the application. IME, the OEM units are somewhat stiffer than the Glide-Pro. The aftermarket OEM replacements vary. I think the number of ridges on them is key to identifying the good ones. They vary with three or four ridges. I think the ones with four ridges are comparable (possibly same factory) as the OEM units. The other ones are pretty cheap and don't last. To be clear, I think the four ridge is good and the thee ridge is cheap, but it could be the other way around.
