lower fairing fitment

I have a 2000 FLHTC, I picked lower fairings, I believe the fairings are 2010. They will not fit the engine guard on my 2000. What year range will I need to look for?
Will a 2015 Road Glide fit or just Electra Glide?

Didnt the crash bars change in 2009, when the frame got changed?

Yes.  the FLH engine guards are 1 shape from '97-'08, different from '09-up due to the frame changes.

I'm not sure about your dilemma,  but the vented lowers I took off my '02 FLHT fit right onto the crash bar on my '15 Road Glide.

I will take some pics this weekend, the lowers I have don't fit at the top curve, I had changed my guard once maybe given the wrong one at the time.
