This is in reference to 91 octane premium fuel from Costco vs Shell , Esso or Petro Can. Only Costco Premium 91 had the problem therefore it is not the same quality fuel and is made from cheaper feed stock. Its your dime fill er up where you want, I know where I buy mine.  Bob

added: top tier only means it meets a EPA min standard for detergents not that its made better or is better.
