Who sells quality TC rod/crankpin kits? Rebuilders get theirs somewhere but even my pretty good search-fu yields no joy.

i would recommend that you use S&S parts, made in the USA by americans.

You might as well consider to get your crank refurbished here:

Somebody Googled without checking results. None of those JP S&S pics show a TWIN CAM rod kit. That's why the crankpins have tapers and nuts! Hint, I used "twin cam" in my search string.

What they do fit:
34-7510 = XL L81-85 (.791 wrist pin)
34-7011 = Big Twin L81-E84
34-7800 = XL 86-99 (.792 wrist pin)
34-7500 = XL 57-E81 (.791 wrist pin)
34-7004= 74" Big Twin 41-E84 (.791 wrist pin)
34-7900 = 1986-'99 xl
34-7013 = Evo big twin

S&S wisely don't offer stock replacement Twinkie rod kits when the design is inferior to theirs.

Drag Specialties (as I found out with more searching) decided to title their offering as a "con rod set".  https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/drag-specialties-con-rod-set-for-harley-twin-cam-1999-2006?gclid=Cj0KCQjwho7rBRDxARIsAJ5nhFqnYeLg18A4Mhm1HeYdfJ5CuiD7MfhSe-omerQr6Nf1Ar1A192IEIcaAjcDEALw_wcB

Those could be mystery metal or they might be good, but generic parts are always questionable. May be the same as Taiwan Ted's.

S&S do make a pressed crankpin rod kit for their wheels but not stock TC wheels.

Ultima = no joy but they do have some press fit cranks for their own Evo style engines. http://www.midwestmc.net/wwwmidwest/pdfs/0373.pdf

This guy doesn't list who makes his kits. I'll contact him later since I just found the link. They're inexpensive but may be decent since he claims they're US made.  If it were mine and a keeper I'd just part out the engine and go S&S. but I'm helping a bro who's tight on cash. He may have to settle for rods of unknown origin and probably buy a complete crank. I've got suitable press access but remanned cranks that are nothing special are cheap enough. Press fit cranks ain't rocket surgery to do but if the difference is dirt cheap there's no need. Of course I'd check trueness on my lathe before install.

Looks like everything on offer is generic.

Carrillo makes H beam rods for TC, I have them on my crank. There's a "generic" H beam manufacturer as well, but I'm unsure who exactly they are.

I'd be looking into what Darkhorse has for kits rather then Drag stuff.

If you're looking for economy and hopefully you're working on a 4" stroke bike you can look for a Revolution crank trued and welded complete. Mine ran about $500 to my door with no core needed. 2 yr Warr. too. It was sold to me by a member here.

Carrillo is probably the best out there.

who`s rebuilding the FW assy? TC FW`s are not like earlier where they can be easily rebuilt
