Feuling Go/No Go lifter bore measuring balls

Has anyone ever used these for checking the bores?

You can do the same thing much more cheaply with pin gages. I use them for quick checks to see if things are within service limits. If further investigation, machining, honing, or fitting is needed, I use Sunnen Dial Bore Gages.

I've got a set of those balls, but have not used them yet.  I'm also interested if anyone's used them and how they like them, or not.
