In Maggie valley NC on Vacation on my 2010 Flhx coasting down a 9% grade & the key light came on ? Bike Does NOT have security! Came on again @ 30 mph for 30 seconds after an hour cool down @ the local watering hole! Light has NEVER been on before @ least I've never seen it in 25000 miles!

Do they have a TSSM ?
Turn signal security, blah blah blah....
You might need to replace the battery in the keyfob .

The key indicates a problem with a light bulb or some thing else in the turn signal circuit.
I'm starting to believe my body is gonna outlast my mind.

I think it has something to do with the fact that you were "Coasting".  This causes an error because the speed of the bike & the engine speed are out of sync.

I found this in the 2011 Touring Elec Diag Manual.  Check your bike for trouble codes and see if this applies.

DTC B1154, B1155 5.20
DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION
The TSM/TSSM/HFSM monitors the clutch and neutral switch
circuits to determine whether or not to let the vehicle start. If
the TSM/TSSM/HFSM does not see that the clutch switch is
closed (lever pulled in) or the neutral switch is closed (transmission
in neutral) it will not activate the start relay. The
TSM/TSSM/HFSM controls the start relay by supplying the
ground circuit to the coil of the start relay.

Diagnostic Tips
DTCs B1154 and B1155 will set when either the clutch switch
circuit or neutral switch circuit is shorted to ground at speeds
greater than 10 mph (16 km/h) for more than 60 seconds. Refer
to Table 5-49.

B1155 Neutral switch short-to-ground
Connector Information
For additional information about the connectors in the following
diagram(s) and diagnostic procedure(s), including the color of
the harness test kit terminal probes, see B.1 CONNECTORS.

Use you trip meter button and see what if any codes are stored.

It means you have a diagnostic code set.

If you were coasting for some time with the clutch pulled in, it will create a code as the bike thinks the clutch switch has failed.

Could also be something else. You should pull the codes and see.

Refresh my memory on how to get tcm codes please?
I was coasting for probably 3 miles with clutch pulled just to see how fast I could coast between curves. Then it came on just cruising the curves.
