Difference in early or late clutch baskets

I need a clutch basket for my 68 FLH. I do know there's a difference in the 65-69 and the 70 n up baskets but don't know what the difference is. Can anyone tell me how to identify the early from the late?

 The "late" model baskets are deeper to accommodate the 5th fiber plate, early only had 4 fiber/3 steels. But you should be able to use the late basket if you want.
