I am going store a 103" engine in my garage/shop for several years.

I am going to use a bunch of fogging oil in cylinders, cases, head ports, etc...

I have rubber plugs or old sensors to close up every external hole to the engine internals.... except for the exhausts...

What do people use to cover/close the exhaust, at the heads, for long term storage....???

Is there some sort of plug/cap that I can bolt on in place of an exhaust header....?

Thanks in advance

Take some measurements and check out the closest auto parts store.

Hadn't thought of that, a great idea.

it can take everything you have.

Just use the exhaust flange or a made up plate, flatbar or whatever,  with a thick rubber sheet up against the head. Snug it and done.

Good idea Ron.
It just takes a minute to slip the flanges off, now do you have another good one for the carbby intake? I just used a piece of flat iron against the seal held tight with a hose clamp around the manifold, had no reason to remove that....but you are always a thinker!
