Don't know about 5 speeds but on the 6 speeds I've installed 1 Champion kit and 2 Motortrike kits.   All were about 1,300.00 and all work fine.

LAst year we put in a Baker Reverse in a 5 speed on a Heritage and it works great. The control buttons are on the switch housings so there's no lever to use.

Baker FR5 woks well - done a few. IIRC they'll go into  90' - 07' 5 Speeds
