2013 RGU I have a roaring noise from the primary, I shot a video of it.
It happens with the clutch in gear and out of gear. Inner bearing or clutch bearing?
Going to pull primary apart tonight.

You only need to be 10% smarter than the thing your working on.

Could really be anything. Pulling it down is best advice.

I'm "leaning" towards compensator (just because of MY) but, there is so much sub-standard crap in them it could be anything.

Compensator has some wear would that cause the noise? I thought they rattled. Inner primary and clutch bearings are good.
70,000 miles.

The Comensator does show wear. How excessive is up to debate.

Does it :kick back" when starting? Especially when warm?

Automatic Chain Tensioner not adjusting also causes noise. Did you happen to take note prior to removing?
