I'd say in a couple hours time we could be looking at your stock one.

So sad, i just dropped a ton of money on a 124. But glad to see S&S in the M8 crank game!

The MOCO raised their prices on flywheels so I think more people will be looking at S&S when they need a replacement. For a little more money they'll get a much better flywheel.

Build a nice little 135" touring motor  :SM:
Ignorance is bliss, and accuracy expensive. How much of either can you afford?

Don D

Already had a set of wheels slip and rods were bad, 4.5 stroke.
New Harley Wheels are $1000

I not a Harley mechanic but I got bit by Harley cranks once and I would not care if SS cranks were higher as in my option you get a better product . I sure that there has been a lot of builds with the stock crank but If I were going to invest that much I want a good crank and not Harley just me

Is that what 128 cylinders and 4 5/8 stoke come to? 135?
What about the new 131 cylinders and 4 5/8 stroke?

rigidthumper

That is the 131 cylinders

Apparently they will have .060 shorter ch pistons .

kd

Shorter where?  Deck surface or skirt heel?

Ohio HD

0.0625" higher pin, the compression height. Otherwise longer cylinders or a base plate is needed.

I don't know how close the pistons are to each other at bottom stroke, the M8 does have a 0.500" taller deck height than the TC. That will help.

What slipped? S&S or Harley wheels?
