96-03 Harley OEM solo seat

I bought my wife a 02 super glide last year and interested in seeing any picture anyone might have of OEM solo seats. The reason I'm asking is i bought a OEM solo for the bike but is is missing the mounting tab. I didn't think this would be any problem to make but to my surprise the seat covers what I'd consider to be the correct mounting hole in the fender. the fender does have a second hole in the fender that has a rubber plug in it and also a third hole that would be for a two up seat. so if anyone might be able to help me clear this up I'd be grateful
