Rockerbox interchangeability

I have a 1991 evo motor I am putting back together and was wondering if I can use a later set of rockerbox covers on it.  They are from a head breathing bike and the motor is a bottom breather but I can't see why it wouldn't work.  I just won't use the breather bolts in the head.   Any thoughts on why I shouldnt do this.  Thanks

Use the later ones. No Problem.
