Anamosa Iowa

Going to Anamosa the first week of June and need hotel info.  Would prefer to stay at a mom and pop motel, sit outside on a picnic table and have a cold one after a long day of riding.
Walking distance to restaurant and bar would also be a bonus.
Any info would be greatly appreciated

Probably 15 min for Anamosa and the museum,  had a bar and a pool at the motel.  Small town eats around the corner.

Thanks Mr Clean. The mom and pop web site only has the Super 8 listed.  Big Blue, thanks for the tip on Blue Inn in Monticello.  Will probably just wing it and try to find something when we get there.

There's a VERY large hotel right there in town.
Cant miss it..really big group of stone buildings, sitting behind a large stone wall.
I was a guest once.....wont go back. The food stinks, the rooms & beds are small. Although they do have some very nice amenities ( 18 hole mini golf course,handball courts, basketball courts,game-room with shuffleboard,ping pong, etc. Theres 2 weight rooms (1 inside 1 outside) and all the friends you'd ever want to make. I wouldnt recommend staying there, but to each his own.
