M8 Spark Plug Gap question

Bought a set of NGK iridium plugs. They all have a gap of .030. Leave them alone or open up the gap? Stock plugs were all .035. Which is the top end of the spec

Fine. BUT, the TORQUE is 89-133 INCH POUNDS - I've had a couple where the Customers has stripped the Threads as most others are 12-18 Ft. Lb.
