Just as the subject says. Sometimes when the engine idles all the way down at or approaching a stop the engine dies. It can be restarted with no problem.
My first thought is either the MAP sensor or the Throttle position sensor.

Asking for a friend out of state.

Thanks

Assuming this is fuel injected?
Check for vacuum leaks. Has the throttle body been cleaned?
If the government gives you everything you want,
it can take everything you have.

cheap fixes first, like Hoss said, vacuum leak?

Clean the iac?

That video was making me a little crazy because I would have pulled the backing plate and completely cleaned that throttle body, I can guarantee that it is filthy behind that plate. It also would make it easier to actually clean the throat as well. But, a good vid showing the iac and cleaning it.

You have to fix your speedo problem first as the VSS speed input is used by the ECM/Ignition module to correct the idle when coming to a stop.
You need to fix one thing at a time as you are chasing your tail.

Panzer

It's a relay problem.
Son had the same problem with his VRod, replaced relay and all was well.
Everyone wants to change the world but, no one wants to change the toilet paper.

That boy had other issues that he didn't see at all. His air filter was not sealing against the backing plate & sucking in all that dust into his engine! :dgust:
