Valley Forge is one of our favorite rides, less than 100 miles away, we do it many times on an Friday or Saturday morning. It has ample parking, decent rest rooms and vending machines. We usually stop for a quick rest, maybe drink a soda and then cruise the encampment tour, a private road you putt around on at 20 mph to see the various sights which often include young deer (four legs). There are usually spots where you can relax. Yesterday it was the fullest I have even seen it, parking lots were loaded and people everywhere, no deer, probably because of all the people. We didn't park and get a beverage like we usually do but just did the encampment tour. On route 23 before getting to Valley Forge, we passed a really old and small "fenced in"  cemetery, the private kind we see on farms and usually don't attract much attention. Heck, we have passed this one many times and not even noticed it - but yesterday the graves  had small American flags. There are a lot of people that really do show sincere appreciation on Memorial day, you just need to be fortunate enough to be in the right places to witness it.

I know what you mean Joe.
Many a time I go on a ride and stop at a small cemetery just to look at the dates on the head stones.
Just parking the bike and walking among the stones and some I say thanks to and salute.

Everyone wants to change the world but, no one wants to change the toilet paper.
