90 degree valve stem

Tough  to  put  air in front  tire  put  in  a  90 degree  rubber  stem that  moves and  you  need  to  use  2 hands  I've  seen  them as a solid  stem that  has  a  seal and  a nut ,local  shop says  that  the  rubber  seal drys out  and  leaks. Have  you  used  them ,did  they  leak where  you  get  them? Don't  want  to  find  out  he's  right  the hard  way .
