ABS Brake line extension

I'm fixin to do a handle bar conversion on a new Roadking and it's got ABS brakes on it.
I've done many handle bar conversions in the past but none including ABS brakes.
Is there any special info that goes along with an ABS system.
I'm thinking there is...
I'm installing 16 in. apes so extensions for everything. sp

Change cables, bleed brakes like normal system, use an aftermarket software program to bleed/cycle the system or have dealer with DT do it.

You can change and bleed the lines, the brakes should work fine, but at some point you do want to have the abs activated and bled, sooner rather than later, as road-dawgs mentions.
