No start when hot

02 flsts springer. Carberated 60k miles. Runs fine until I shut it off. It won't start until it cools down. Turns over fine. No spark. I'd think if it was a coil it would shut down as it heated up. But it doesn't any ideas?

Bad coil. You have a "bad coil" typical problem.

One way to troubleshoot is to pour cold water on it when it won't start. If it start immediately after, it's the CKP.

Thanks to all. Have a weekend ride planned next week so I ordered a sensor and I'm putting my faith in my angels. So we'll see
