Been looking in the dyno sect. Don't see where anyone has tried this cam in a 103. Any one have a opinion, good or bad

If the compression was not too high, seems like it would be a fun torquey motor for a bagger.   :pop:

Like Geo said flat tops with 83~85 cc's stock head voluum = 10/1 ish CR, that could end up being a tad too much compression for that cam, that's prolly why you don't see many in that application

I have a set of 37H's in an '07 FLHT. 103 w/ SE cast flat tops, Cometic .030 HG, Zippers with A/T true duals and have absolutely NO pinging. In addition I run between 87 and 89 octaine fuel in it! I am running the stock Zippers map that has the 37's listed in their database. This is a great running motor and have a lot of fun with it!  My next step is to change the rear sprocket to a 68 tooth sporty one.

I think the Andrews TW37 will give you too much compression.  I ran a 103", 2007 FLHX, SE cast FT, Cometic HG and the SE251 cam.  Even with the 46* intake close the CCP was 200 psi.  Either way it should never ping with the stock ECM spark knock retard active.  The ECM will pull out timing causing reduced performance and you will not even know it.

It was too much for the starter and I would have liked compression releases.

Did one several years ago here, in a bike the client had "won", no less.
The guy rides the livin' hell out of it, and just loves it.
His 124" sits in the garage most of the time, because he says it has too much.
Must be the Wood 400G we have in that one, with S&S Twin 53mm's, would make him say that!! :hyst: :hyst:

Here is a 103 kit with stock heads and the 37 cam , We did another 103 with the 37 at the same time but with CNC heads and the Bassani road rage pipe on a 07 SG. I will have to get that sheet scanned in.  Hp was in 104-105 and tq was either 112 or 114 compression was 9.8 on both builds
