What was the last year the Road King came with the clutch by cable?
Thank you in advance for your replies.

I believe it was 2016. If I'm correct it was the only touring model of the Rushmore bikes with a cable clutch. I had a 2014 and it was cable clutch.

Ronnie's shows a 2016 with a cable and a 2017 with hydraulic.
I am an adult?? When did that happen, and how do I make it stop?!

What does that have to do with the OP's question?

Relax a little

The fairing models started with hydraulic clutches in 2014.  The Roadking models still had cables until 2017 or '18.  There is talk among the police bike community that some models will be returning to cables in 2021 after many complaints about low speed handling with the hydro clutches in training

No problem, just trying to keep the thread on track.

Damn Ohio, that made me laugh!

it can take everything you have.

Go to a AIM clutch slave and you'll be happy. Hated the clutch on my '17 RK so I tried the AIM and it works great, good friction zone.
